Commissioned by architectural firm Forms & Spaces, this residential interior project in Pollachi is a home where contemporary design and traditional sensibility sit in thoughtful balance. Spontofocus was brought in to document the completed interiors — a space that layers modern material choices with warm, familiar elements drawn from regional craft.
The living spaces are anchored by timber wall panelling, fluted joinery, and sculptural ceiling light installations that add character without overwhelming the palette. A standout geometric partition wall — timber and glass panels arranged in a bold diagonal pattern — serves as both a functional screen and a focal design feature. Bedrooms are calm and well-dressed, the modular kitchen is clean and practical, and a traditional pillared verandah space brings a grounded, heritage quality to the overall composition.
Spontofocus documented each room individually, working with available natural and artificial light to produce imagery suited to Forms & Spaces’ portfolio — photography that communicates the depth of design intent behind every finish and fitting.
