Set against the hills of Yercaud, Mangohills Hotel is a hospitality property where the landscape is as much a part of the experience as the architecture. Spontofocus was commissioned to document the full property — exteriors, guest rooms, dining spaces, and leisure facilities — producing imagery suited to hospitality marketing and property promotion.
The exterior work opens with the hotel’s most compelling asset: a sweeping hilltop view captured at dusk, with the property lit against a vivid sky and the Yercaud valley stretching behind. Inside, the design leans into its setting — terracotta flooring, exposed timber roof structures, stone-finished bathrooms with natural rock features, and four-poster beds dressed in warm textiles. The long dining hall with its barrel-vaulted ceiling and valley-facing windows is a particular standout, as is the games room and the lounge spaces that frame the hillside views deliberately.
Hospitality photography at a property of this nature is about selling an experience. Every frame was composed to communicate the quality of the stay — the texture, the light, and the sense of place that makes Mangohills a destination in its own right.
